CONTENTS
Structural equation modeling is a statistical method that can be used to test theories in many areas of science and business. The advantages of this method include its theory-driven approach, the availability of statistical quality criteria for model evaluation, the explicit distinction between constructs and indicators, and the increased validity through modeling of measurement errors.
This course provides an introduction to the application of structural equation models. After providing the necessary theoretical background, the method is demonstrated and applied in practice using Mplus. Numerous practical exercises for independently creating and modeling structural equations round out the course, ensuring learning progress.
